About the Role

Sri Sai Kids International Play School is seeking a dedicated and creative Telugu Teacher to join our team in Hyderabad. We believe language is a bridge to culture and confidence. In this role, you will play a vital part in introducing young learners to the beauty of the Telugu language through storytelling, rhymes, and interactive play. Your goal is to make learning fun, engaging, and culturally enriching for every child.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Create and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans focused on Telugu vocabulary, phonetics, and basic sentence structures.

• Interactive Learning: Utilize storytelling (including tales from the Ramayanam and Mahabharatam), traditional songs (Patalu), and poems to make the language accessible and exciting.

• Holistic Development: Foster an appreciation for Telugu culture, traditions, and values within a globalized learning environment.

• Student Assessment: Monitor individual progress and provide regular, constructive updates to parents regarding their child’s linguistic growth.

• Collaborative Teaching: Work closely with class teachers to integrate language learning into daily activities, festivals, and school events.

• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere where every child feels encouraged to participate.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Telugu or B.A./M.A. in Telugu Literature. A B.Ed. qualification is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education or primary school teaching.

• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both written and spoken Telugu. Basic English proficiency is required for effective coordination with staff and parents.
